Templates

Making it easy

Templates make your collaborators’ lives easier by providing guidance for filling-in the information for a given issue or task.

KanDo comes with default templates for each of the work item types provided. These templates are defined in the organization settings which provide defaults to be used by projects. As with most every other setting, projects can override these default templates in the project settings.

You can edit or create new templates for each of the work item types as well as the project overview documentation page, and work item documentation page.

Templates allow rich text via Markdown, familiar to most software developers. The Markdown Guide is a pretty good resource for how to use it. Note the implementation used by KanDo supports GFM (GitHub Flavored Markdown).
